The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's most glaring omission

Site Updates

Gigs, pictures and more. Too much to list! Just go thru the whole website, OK? Think Link!

Found a few interesting Link gigs for you - added about 10 new Robert Gordon and Link Wray gigs form 1977, as well as a few from the 1958 / 1959 period.

Also found an appearance by Link on the Dick Clark Beechnut Show from 1958! The 1959 Rawhide appearance is on YouTube…when will the 1958 RUMBLE appearance surface?

For these gigs and many more, click the GIGS page in the ARCHIVE tab.

We have added almost two dozen newly discovered gigs that Link played back in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. You can find them in the ARCHIVES section. Thanks to Bob Embrey for this wonderful information.

Back with some updates. Added a few new pages, you can find links for both under the NEWS section. First up is an intimate look at Link the family man - these pictures are from his first daughter Beth Wray Webb.

We also added a page for the First Annual Link Wray Music Fest that was held in Dunn NC on May 3, 2013. The first event was a one night concert, but the Town of Dunn is making plans for a bigger and better event in 2014. Looks like it may be a day long shindig, so if you’re looking for something to do in May, mark your calendars.

Finally…starting to get into this new Mac website program as you can tell if you’ve been following our site these last few weeks. I’m by no means an expert, so please send your bug reports to the eMail below.

Think Link!

Today we fired up our new Link Wray website. If you read the ABOUT US page under ETC. in the Navigation Bar, you’ll see we’ve been doing this for over a dozen years, from Link Wray’s Net Shack, to and now was built with an old PC and FrontPage 2000 and hasn’t really been improved upon since. This is our first effort at building a website on a Mac (shoulda made the switch YEARS ago) so you’ll probably find a few glitches. We’ll do our best to get things running smooth.

In the not too distant future, we’ll be closing the site down and moving the content over here, then forwarding that URL to this address. So please update your bookmarks.
