The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's most glaring omission

Bluebird Theater

The show was quite good.  I only got a couple of pictures of Link because during "Rumble" (which he opened with) he said, "No pictures!", after I took my third photo.  Shortly after that one of the theatre employees asked me to stop taking the photos too.  So I put the camera away.

Anyway, it was amazing seeing my guitar hero in action!  I had been waiting for this for over 10 years.  He played all the biggies.   "Rumble", "Jack the Ripper", "Ace of Spades", "I'm Branded", "Fire","Rawhide", "Batman".  Before he went into "Run Chicken Run" he said something about how Kurt Cobain had ripped him off on the riff to that song.  And he said, "I didn't get one red cent from him.  Not even a FUCKING quarter!"  Bad ass!

When he came back out for the encore he played, "Rumble", "Jack the Ripper", "Batman", and something else which I can't remember.  I got to shake the man's hand too.

After the show I got my Stratocaster out of my car because I heard he was doing autographs and I was going to see if he could sign the headstock.  But when I got back into the theatre he hadn't come out yet and it was already 1:30 in the A.M. and I had to work at 7:15 A.M.

So I took off.
